Elerai Newsletter Satao Elerai is located 10 kms outside Amboseli National Park on the lower slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. It has amazing 360 degree views incorporating the Amboseli plains, Mt Kilimanjaro and the Chyulu Hills. Game walks and sundowners are a specialty and take place on the 5,000 acre Elerai conservancy which has a wide variety of animals and a great selection of birdlife. The conservancy consists primarily of wide open flays, rocky hills and tall acacia trees, making it a completely different and varied environment to the park. Leopard, cheetah, elephants, zebra, giraffe, eland, impala, Hyena, porcupine, aardvark and wild cat are just some of the animals already seen in the conservancy to date.
